A whole chicken will serve 4-6 people. We recommend approximately 8oz/230g per person.
Roast in the centre of a pre-heated oven, at 190°C, for 20 minutes per lb (450 g) plus 10-20 minutes extra – this will be about 1 hour and 50 minutes for 2kg bird. Baste three times during the cooking time.
